Susan Schneider teaches agricultural and food law courses at the University of Arkansas Law School and also serves as the Director of the School’s LL.M. Program in Agricultural & Food Law. She has practiced and engaged in advocacy work in agricultural law with firms in Arkansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Washington, D.C. She is a past president of the American Agricultural Law Association and has received that group’s Distinguished Service Award. Susan is a founding member of the Academy of Food Law & Policy and also serves on the Board of Directors of Farmers Legal Action Group, Inc. She is a frequent speaker at conferences on food law and policy issues and is the author of a book on farming and sustainability. Susan’s credibility as a national leader in agricultural law is enhanced by co-ownership of her family's farm in Minnesota.
